Details on the five projects are scarce, but we do know that the first collaboration between them is slated for the Shahid VIP streaming service in July. Based on an as-yet-unannounced sci-fi novel, the production will feature the voice of a well-known Arab actor which companies will announce closer to the release date.

Jamal established Barajoun in 2011 with the aim of making it a leading producer of cg character animation and vfx in the Middle East. There he produced 2015 Bilal: a new breed of heroes, the first CG animated feature film produced in the United Arab Emirates.
